 | | | Banking on cells to share - dodano Thursday, June 08 @ 13:53:38 CEST (981 reads) |  A team of Spanish cell biologists has acquired the knowledge and experience needed to set up a quality-controlled cell bank to store a wide variety of cell lines for many research groups. With IRC help, the Spanish ‘EUcellbank’ service has been used as a model to create a similar service in Poland. These initiatives are making it easier for researchers to store and share their cells, giving a stimulus to cell biology research.

| General meeting of the ''BioMoBiL'' on 6th June 2005 - dodano Tuesday, May 31 @ 12:33:13 CEST (1609 reads) | Similarly to the previous year, when we met in the Interfaculty
Institute of Marine and Tropical Medicine, this year our plenary
meeting will be held at the Faculty of Pharmacy localized in 107,
Hallera Street at Gdańsk-Wrzeszcz.
Our hosts will be Professor Roman Kaliszan. Vice-Rector of the Medical
University and Dr Tomasz Bączek from the Department of Pharmacodynamics
of this faculty.
The meeting will have the general title " Workshop on New
Methods� and will be mainly dedicated to summarize the second
year of the project, presentations of the new possibilities in research
work and discussions on the possible continuation of the project after
its conclusion in the next year.
